Okay, then compare UWF with Coastal.

Coastal has an on campus stadium with 10k capacity (double UWF's) and just got approval to expand to over 20k. Our stadium is on campus theirs is not. They play at the D2 level, we play at the D1 level. We have a national championship in one of the 3 big sports. We have a history of success at the FCS level with multiple runs in the playoffs. UWF has one win in program history against an NAIA school.

So if Coastal received an invite, why not UWF?

We started playing football 13 years ago. If UWF joins in 4 years like you proclaim, they would have 30% of the history that Coastal had at their time of invitation.

Also, Coastal has always played at the D1 level. All of our experience is D1. UWF will have all D2 experience unless an FCS conference calls them up in a year or two. But even then, they would have 1-2 years o D1 history vs Coastal's 13 years.

I notice that you did not answer "When did Coastal decide to expand its stadium?" UWF current Campus Master Plan has the addition of a football stadium by 2011. When will CCU complete its expansion of the football stadium? Only to 20K capacity?

I already stated that neither USA or Ga State had CCU's FCS football history when receiving invites. Why would UWF have less potential than CCU?
