Just curious...Do you know how much your employer pays of your outlay?

Not in the last few years. Our parent company took over the HR and I only see the financials at a higher level. Out of about 80 employee, I bet only about 15 of us even take it. The rest are retired military and don't have to. That's why this is still dragging on. Our fringe rate per employee is still low.

We do the same thing....and pay them more. Just good business in this schitty environment...not to mention getting mostly solid employees.

exactly. vets actually get a pay bonus because the hiring authority doesn't have to worry about this huge unknown -- which is healthcare expense.

it's simply not chartable. companies that run on a fiscal year basis are facing budget guidance now. the rest of the universe may not stagger and fall until after the new calender year, but by that time . . . . .
