You do realize we're still talking about being able to watch it on TV, but not all of us live in a regional broadcast area or have cable, right? If it's on Twitter, ESPN3, etc you can watch on a TV, computer, phone, tablet...anything.

You also realize that there is a large segment of the population where streaming just won't work (not that it is an option you don't choose via your cable package.....just is not available period). For a large portion of rural America not an option or something like 'DSL' is not an option so you are trying to stream over low-bandwidth which makes it also a choppy, unacceptable option.

Digital is better than nothing, but it seems like rationalizing to say it is preferable to an actual TV deal.

JMU like it or not is a regional university (not National) so being on a regional cable network makes a lot of sense. For those that prefer the streaming option you can always go with Madizone.
