did you read the article? CUSA is struggling. Cable is struggling. this isnt CAA ineptitude, or Bourne related, there are macro forces at work here.

This isn't the CAA's fault; it's a result of the changing sports TV marketplace. Football ratings are falling, in part because so many young people are no longer subscribing to cable TV, and the fallout is hurting any league outside the Power 5.

Conference USA is re-negotiating its contracts with four networks. C-USA football is more marketable than the CAA, but I'd be surprised if the number of C-USA games on TV, and the quality of networks televising them, also don't decline.
