Cbssn is actually a quality channel overall. I'd rank it as ESPN, fs1, cbssn and NBCSN bringing up the rear.
What sets ESPN apart from the competition is their streaming presence, while the other networks are taking forever to try and catch up. ESPN has had espn360/espn3 for nearly a decade it seems. None of them have produced anything close to resembling it in that time frame. They must not even be trying I guess. Forget about trendsetting and doing something new before ESPN does it.

Cbssn lacks wide availability in tv homes and requires a purchase of the highest sports or channel packages to get. They need to find a way to get in more tv households.

The production quality of their broadcasts are superior to NBCSN IMO. NBC and cbs also lack a sportscenter like show and is another reason why they're behind. Even fs1 has one.
