RE: Men's Basketball Recruiting: 2018
I am looking for Caver to slide to the 2 spot some next year which would open some time for Kithcart. I still believe Caver will be more effective if his time on the court is more like the low 30 minute range vs 40 minutes. If Kithcart can get around 20 in a backup role maybe Caver can play 20 at PG and about 10 at the 2 spot. That would leave 20 or so for Xavier. Stith can play the 2 a few minutes if needed and I look for him to split time at the 3 and 4. Hopefully Godwin plays at least 20 minutes per game at the three. All of that will leave about 60 minutes of playing time between our new transfers, the two new freshman bigs and Carver. The big question in my mind is where will Wade fit in. I look for him to play but have no clue as to how much time he gets. I hope my math is not too bad and of course all of the above is just a gut feeling.
