That was sweet, too - but that vcu team wasn’t ranked. I could feel the pain from richmond when we beat their ranked team.

The lose to Butler was the beginning of BT and ODU's downhill fall from grace that we still have not recovered from.VCU went on to the final 4 and the A10. BT went home and crawled into a bottle and ODU went on to fall from grace and the CUSA. ODU athletic department??? Big question mark where we go from here. All I know is what we are doing is not working.

I agree. ODU was hurt by the departure of seniors Keyon Carter, Ben Finney, Frank Hassell, and Darius James after that final game in the NCAA Tourney against Butler that ended with their heartbreaking defeat at the buzzer. As we know, that same Butler team would go on to the NCAA Championship game, and put an end to VCU's run in their Final Four match-up. Those 4 seniors averaged 24.25 wins per season and won an ODU record 97 games during their career, which included winning 6 of 11 games against VCU. They knocked VCU out of the CAA Tournament in Richmond during both their junior and senior seasons. I could feel the pain in Richmond when ODU beat them in both of those games.
