The issue isn't UR, it's the A-10. They have a rule that forces intra-conference transfers to sit out two seasons instead of one. Even with having a redshirt available, it would leave him with just the one season to play at VCU, or any other A-10 school.

???? I don't understand this response. EJ's dad went to ODU, not VCU. His grandad went to VCU?

Misread the post. Not sure what UR would do with Sherod since he hasn't asked for his release, though it's been hinted at, but ODU barred Porter from going there so it wouldn't shock me if they acted in kind.
