I am not suggesting that money grows on trees, maybe Dukeman is.
I am suggesting JMU has one of the largest football budgets in FCS and yet the only 3 home OOC games the next two years are Robert Morris, STFU, and Morgan State. This is not why we built a $62 stadium and IMO it is irresponsible.

This is not a money issue otherwise everyone else in FCS couldn’t afford it either and nobody would ever have home OOC games. Everybody is on the road every week
This is a philosophy issue.
JMU is purposely trying to schedule the weakest OOC home games. Lame.
And it is anticompetitive. Sports are all about competing.
Coach Houston might call this a soft-nosed approach to scheduling.

Some people are giving the polar opposite of playing the very best program in NDSU which isn’t necessary, but could be interesting if it was a nationally televised game with big payouts.

But What about everything in between? Nearby conferences Big South, Southern, OVC, & Patriot league all have some teams that make more sense and could be bought for a home game.
Almost all FCS programs are bleeding money and many are searching for a payday. JMU is one of the few in a position of power that can pay based on home game revenue.

Does anybody know what we are paying Bobby Mo, STFU, and Morgan State?
