I'm a season ticket holder, UCAT Member, for MBB & FB, Made donations to Nippert remodel & Fifth Third remodel projects. Tuberville and Cronin are good coaches. UC is lucky to have them. I estimate there are over 100 Div 1 schools that would love to have them. I assume you all have 4.0 GPA's. If not why not? ( Your to short, don't study enough, party to much, whine to much, teachers don't respect you, etc.:.)

Coach Cronin will do just fine before and after the remodel. So will Coach Tuberville. How many years have we been in the NCAA tournament & and how many bowl games has UC gone to? Losers don't go to the NCAA tournament or bowl games. You do realize how many schools have never achieved either of the above.

Thanks for regurgitating the company line. Expanded NCAA Tourny field, as well as a inordinate amount of bowls, allow the vast majority to achieve an appearance. I am fully aware the University's athletic department and some boosters are happy with participation awards.

Cronin has said one of his reasons for lack of success is an outdated arena. So, coming from the horses mouth he is not fine before the remodel. What will the excuse be after he receives a brand new arena?

In order to receive respect from other Universities and other fanbases you need to win something first. UK does not respect us in basketball because we have not won at the highest level consistently enough. We will lose our new found respect in football if we revert back to 7 and 8 win seasons. No one cares about bowl appearances, if we are consistently losing bowl games. When UC plays a high level opponent we need to win a majority of the time.

UofL was very similar to UC. They gained respect by consistently winning NC CH's/Final 4's/beating major opponents in bball. They earned respect in fball by winning BCS games, when there was such a thing.
