Eastern Michigan would be such a good fit for the Horizon though, both in terms of its institutional profile and its athletic facilities, that I can't imagine the Horizon wouldn't eagerly extend an invitation.

The MVFC has been resistant to add more teams. It's a big reason that Murray State is on the outside looking in when it comes to MVC membership as from what I've heard the MVFC doesn't want to add anyone.
