Hope the last 3 episodes at least feel satisfying. This episode was not satisfying as a viewer
After Melisandre got Arya's head back in the game, she got into "No One" mode so that only the one White Walker had a hint of anything happening before she launched against the Night King. No way that the wights would be able to deal with that, so she had no problem getting to the Godswood.

I could not disagree more about the episode not being satisfying. All the clues were there, and they played out. And even the callbacks like Arya telling Sansa to "Stick them with the pointy end" when she gave her the dragonstone dagger were well placed.

My only minor criticism is that one or two more of the main characters should have died in the battle. Brienne and Grey Worm top that list.

I expected the action at Winterfell to be done by early episode 4 (thought they might have left a cliffhanger), so they are ahead of schedule in my book. The heart of the Game of Thrones TV series has always been the political side. Lots of storylines still to resolve with three episodes (4 hours) to go. Episode 4 will be the aftermath and setup for the episode 5 battle.
Except they don't show that happening. It's just a lot of assumption. Suddenly she's flying through the air at the Night King and this storyline that began in the first scene of the show is instantly over due to a weird jump-scare from Arya with no explanation for any motivations behind the NK character. If he ends up just being "evil" then that's pretty bad writing. There was a lot of illogical ways people were doing things this episode that took me out of it

Hopefully they explain next episode

I hope they prove me wrong, but they're ending the show on a bad note. Cersei is okay (was a much better character before all of her children were dead), but Euron is a poorly written character on screen and just makes the show worse. And that's all you have left really before it is over, unless there's a surprise with Dany/Jon going at it, but I doubt it

I mean im not saying it is some terrible show. It's still my favorite show and great TV. Just disappointed that so many book things will never get fleshed out, but that's on GRRM
