Teams beat us off the dribble. To avoid this we play a lot of zone or back way off the ball. This provides a wide-open perimeter shot. Perhaps playing the player a tad bit tighter might make a difference. Also, in the early part of the season we were getting a lot of blocks on the perimeter shooters. We have gotten none recently. This leads me to believe we are playing a lot looser defense now than we did at the beginning of the season...

I believe youre right. Statistically we are still a "good" defensive team for the season, but if you break those numbers down there's probably been a statistical drop off since league play began.
