Not a mic drop revelation, but congratulations on making yourself a d-bag. She's never shown more than an ability to have a slight telepathic connection to Luke. That is what should have been used in this instance. A call to someone telepathically who then rescues her. It would have fit better and not looked so fake and cheesy. We have spacesuits. Certainly they have spacesuits on board a starship and a cable/winch to go get her. That would have been more realistic and better explained the need for her to be hospitalized for most of the movie afterwards. I mean if you can force-fly through outer space, you can certainly force shield a little from the cold.
