My Sarcasm Meter is off tonight. Can't believe you're serious about this.

First, he's not leaving WMU for NIU with the contract he has. Second, why would we want that Freak Show in DeKalb?

Now PJ is a freak show? That's incredibly disrespectful to a guy who played his collegiate football in DeKalb and is one of the best players who ever graced a Huskie uniform.

PJ grew up in Kaneland and was one of the most devoted Huskies I have ever been around. He wasn't some guy who came in from Florida - he really cared about the program and loved being in DeKalb.

Fleck is a really good guy, and for those of you that don't know him, the mud you're slinging is very misplaced. PJ should be revered as a Huskie great, not loathed because he coaches an adversarial school.

What if Chandler Harnish were hired as the coach of Kent State? Do I need to start ridiculing him and make disrespectful posts towards him? Is that the understood way to treat former Huskie greats?

As to why you should want him in DeKalb; his enthusiasm, his recruiting skills, his NFL experience, his ties to the community, the corporate money he would bring in, his devotion to NIU, and his abilities as a football coach.

I know that last comment will bring ridicule - but wait and see. He took over a really bad program and his record thus far won't blow the dust off any record books, but he has a really sharp mind and he will be a great coach

PJ had his chance here. That ship has sailed.

He'll always be a Huskie but his way of doing things is not consistent with the way NIU Football has succeeded for the past decade or so. Sorry, but he's not the same guy he was when he wore the Red & Black. And yes, he is a bit of a freak show.

I don't care what heights he takes WMU to. He's not a good fit for this program.
