Higher and lower ranked teams using what metric? At the time of the game or using season ending metrics? I wouldn't really criticize the non conference schedule, it's been top 100 past couple of years.
I am shocked to hear our out of conference schedule has top 100 the past couple years. Personally I thought it stunk. Take VCU out of the picture and you have a bunch of MEAC schools CAA schools. In order for us to be considered for an at large bid we need to upgrade our out of conference schedule...we need to play a few top 50 teams at least.

Huh? VCU was our best OOC game? Did you forget the Battle for Atlantis? Or the Hall of Fame classic? Our schedule has been balanced well between cupcakes, quality A10 and CAA foes and good holiday tournaments. We just havent been that good or lucky.
