RE: 2017 Old Dominion Basketball Recruiting Den
Talley was very frustrating to watch. It's disappointing because u could see his potential. But in terms of production, we aren't losing an amazing player. Talley played in approx 24 games. Averaged about 10 points and 4 boards. So I'm not sure how 240 points and 100 rebounds on the season is all of a sudden some amazing amount of production....
Again it was just frustrating because he had 6 or 7 games where he scored 15-19 points and handled the ball well, attacked the rim and hit some midrange jumpers. Just soo inconsistent. He wasn't scoring 10 or 11 every game. That would of been nice. Instead he'd have 17 in one game and 4 in the next.
So at the end of the day it's disappointing to lose a talented player, but a lot of Talley's game was really just unrealized potential.
