I have a ****** memory so i won't be able to recall game specifics, but the games i was able to see on TV, foul shots would have made the difference between a win and a loss in most of them.

Im not even sure it would be accurate if you assumed ODU hit 100% of their free throws, but certainly not if you assume an average/above average rate.

The game went to overtime. If we had made one more FT we win, and we were shooting below average.

That is 1 game.

Louisville 68-62 (OT) - 46.9% FTs - Average FTs win

LSU 66-60 - 53.3% FTs - Average FTs would not alone have won this one, but the end of game may have played out differently if we had 3 more points on the board.

VCU 67-64 - 46.4% FTs (13-28) - Average FTs win

Marshall (Jan 5) 90-86 (OT) - 64.7% FTs - Average FTs win

Charlotte - 74-72 - 66.7% FTs - Average FTs could have won it

FAU - 65-61 - 50% FTs (12-24) - Average FTs win

Marshall (CUSA Tournament) - 64-63 - 50% FTs - Average FTs win

Vs. LSU, average FT rate gives them 2 more FTs.

The JAn 5. Marshall game, the difference between what we did and average is .73 of a free throw.

vs. Charlotte is .42 of a free throw.
