I actually think the Browns have solid people running the show now under Paul DePodesta and Hue Jackson. So certainly for them having the # 1 pick this year will matter.

As for the Jets, yeah, I think we need the owner to die or sell the team before we'll have the "right people" running the show. But since we can't force that to happen, what choice do we have but to hope we nail our pick and maybe get a franchise QB? Even bad franchises can do that. Just look at the Colts. They've taken Elway, Peyton and Andrew Luck # 1 in their history, and their franchise is run by a drug addict.

I think the Browns do now too, that was more of a dig on all the top picks they have had when they didn't.
