Look man. I'm sorry your Jets suck. Let's be real though. Rex doesn't coach the jets anymore and they're likely to get blown out by teams like the Patriots and Bengals as well. The Giants game this year has really been the only WTF game for the Bills, honestly. And every team has a WTF game every year.

So there it is man. Enjoy your hate for the Bills because your bitter that the Jets couldn't get it done. News flash my man... The Jets have sucked, still suck, and aren't contending in the foreseeable future.

1. Yes, Fred Jackson was old, which is why I compared him to the old Jet players who were let go/retired.

2. The Jets don't suck. We're 5-3 and + 38 in net points, which puts us 4th in the AFC in both categories. We're one of the NFL's leaders in turnovers forced, are # 1 against the run, have been very efficient on offense, and all the "advanced statistics" out there agree we've been quite good so far. We've already won more games this year than we did all of last year with Rex in charge. And we're at the halfway point. We're not a Super Bowl contender, but we're a legit playoff contender. This game will go a long way towards determining just how legit we are, and it's a must-win for both teams. But don't pretend we haven't been good this year to this point under our Rookie Head Coach. Have we been a poorly-run franchise? Sure. But that certainly does not mean we suck right now. The only game this season we've been non-competitive in was @ Oakland, and last I checked, they've improved pretty nicely over the last couple years.

3. We didn't get blown out by the Pats. The game came down to the final possession on the road. Even Seahawkhoops admitted we were a tough team to beat.

4. I understand the pulse of a Rex-led locker room based on 6 years of experiencing Rex, and also reading the book that chronicled the entire 2011 Jet season Collision Low Crossers. Maybe take the time to read it. Gives you a nice look of what Rex brings to the table. Maybe I'm not football expert or even a Rex expert, but as far as we can see as fans, I'd say I have a pretty good grasp of what he's all about by now.

5. I don't hate the Bills. Never have. I only dislike Rex Ryan, and wish he was the Miami coach rather than the Bills coach, so he could ruin them instead. :)

Love you man, but you're way off on this one. The homerism you accused me of earlier in this thread is showing up in your posts about the Bills. You were 9-7 last year and are playing .500 ball. Many Bills fans are ready to mutiny for what Rex is doing to the defense. We were 4-12 last year and are playing quite well. I'm quite happy with the direction my Jets are headed. Our records aren't very different right now but it's all about sustained success in this league, and I think we have a GM and Head Coach in place that might provide that. I certainly don't think that's the case in Buffalo.

But it's cool. We're both UNCW Seahawk fans and that's what matters most. We can disagree all we want here, then make up in time for basketball season.
