Other than Jonathan Niese, I doubt they deal any of them in the offseason, and instead will prefer to wait at least until the Trade Deadline in 2016. Harvey is most likely to be dealt because of his future contract demands and how much his agent, Scott Boras, has dictated his usage this year. He's beloved by New Yorkers though so I hope all of that sorts itself out. A 5-man rotation of Harvey, deGrom, Syndegaard, Zach Wheeler and Steven Matz is straight up scary.

Doubt the Cubs and Mets make a trade. Quietly those 2 franchises don't like each other much. And I'm not sure who the Mets would go after....Baez?

The more important situation will be whether the Mets can afford to keep Cespedes around. They can't particularly afford to hand him a mega-contract. But his play this season may almost give them no choice. He helps make Citi Field look small with his power.

Thanks for the perspective. I'm not sure why the franchises don't like each other. I know my dad's generation hated the Mets because of '69, but I'm not sure of other bad blood.

Chicago's offseason will be very interesting. I don't think they move Baez, but Castro's recent surge has likely increased his value. I could see Soler being available, which may interest NY if Cespedes leaves. Gleyber Torres could be of interest as well.
