This is a dumb reason to play FCS opponents. The real reason universities play the FCS opponents is so that they can pay for an easy win - which should absolutely be done away.

If the FBS would agree to do away with FCS games across the board, college football would benefit greatly. We don't want to see Washington and LSU or Illinois and Clemson to play FCS opponents - we want to see LSU and Washington and Illinois and Clemson play each other.

And we absolutely don't want LSU, Washington, Illinois, and Clemson padding their stats and the win column with dirty FCS victories.

We don't need any more FCS handout games in Division 1 FBS college football.
