Top team was Ann Arbor Pioneer which looks loaded with 2017 prospects, Southfield Christian and Belleville.

One has to be careful in interpreting these 'headlines'.

It is one thing to say a TEAM looks good at a team camp and another to ask: "Are there MAC prospects on that team?"

How many MAC prospects will there be at those three schools?

That said, the top players might have been Neely (Oakland verbal) whom I've seen play Summer AAU ball (webcast) and Josh Long (2017) both from Detroit Western. (Nice to see a McDowell team at the Convo).

And, unless things change, EMU will have two scholarships and looking for a center or small forward or even two centers.

Yes I agree one should read the articles carefully as the article states most of the Ann Arbor Pioneer kids are in the 2017 class where EMU will have more than 2 scholarships.

A follow up:

Ann Arbor Pioneer continues to impress w/trio of 2017s: @deric_murray @Cedric_Benton05 @JordanCurrie6 @AAPioneerHoops
