See, there is a silver lining to this, no? If you want to take into account weather issues, go for it. What happens if you move to another conference and actually get to play on more Saturday afternoons against better competition including an improved OOC schedule? A move can't come quick enough. AAC, Big 12, I don't care...just do it...quickly.

You guys have a lot of pride and have been the best MAC football team for five years. I truly mean that! But NIU is a very large project in the works, that your AD is trying to address, and these bigger schools don't want projects. USF, UCF, Cinci, etc are much bigger schools, have much more money, much better facilities, much better all around sports programs. I don't like it either but schools like NIU and other MAC schools are not going anywhere.
