Under normal circumstances, ECU vs Florida would be an attention-getting game. We just are not enthused about either team right now. Wonder who will be coaching Florida in the bowl game?

B'ham will have to decide what to do with legion field now with only two annual games to be played there. It is a major expense to keep that facility up year round for just two big crowd games per year - and if the bowl doesn't get a sponsor soon, it may be down to one and that "one" could be moved to Atlanta soon.

We had looked forward to not having to play at Legion Field one day -- but not this way. As was said "Be careful what you wish for as you may get it, but not as you expected"..
