At the faculty senate meeting, I spoke with a former faculty senate member that had sign to established club football (George Munchus) He said technically that document has never been rescinded. Here is my thought: we have a head coach that is under contract for 2 more years, players who have not transferred will have their scholarships honored, we have a practice field and equipment. I would say that we would have one of the best club football teams in America. We could play BSC, Samford, junior colleges, etc (whoever wants a good scrimmage). I am pretty sure that Bham would let us play at Legion Field for free. Imagine the media attention if we had 30k+ for an "exhibition" game next September.
