This is incorrect.

They had 4 signees in the 2017 class, but only lost 2. Batts and Kiir were granted releases, while Santos-Silva and Mobley have reaffirmed their commitments to VCU.

The third signee you may have seen granted his release is Kevin Easley, who is part of the 2018 class.
