Even if its just football only no way would you get a 120 yard facility for 6-7 million. GTs IPF is football only and 70 yards with 1 endzone. And kicking in it could get tricky, the highest point in the facility is 65 feet, total cost 7.1 million (2011).

For a 120 yard facility (100 yards and 2 endzones) with no bells and whistles I would say 9-11 million would be the going rate. And a multi-use would be 12-16 million.

Marshall's IAC was 14.27 million, the academic center will be 1.2 million, the sports medicine facility 3.3 million and hall of fame center will be 2.8 million. The soccer complex was 8.9 million. Which totals 30.47 million.

Marshall's soccer complex is only one of two collegiate socccer stadiums designated by FIFA.

This Marshall guy seems to right on when it comes to the current market for building an IPF.

McGarity would not provide details but, in the past, he has spoken of a $15 million project that would erect an 80-yard by 140-yard facility at a site next to the softball/soccer complex on South Milledge Avenue.

On land they already own.

Seems to fit into AB's cost estimate for a 84000sf no frills IPF...IMHO.
