Despite travel, Idaho just became a very important element to the SBC 12 team stategy for 2015 and beyond.

I still don't totally understand everyone's dislike of having Idaho in the SBC. I know about the travel and conference footprints, etc.. But, really it's travel once every two years, if that. Is that really too much?

Deregulation of the CCG will come and then Idaho is no longer part of the strategy for the Sunbelt. With 8 conferences games, 10 team conference will work good. Then they could add an 11th team like Mo St some years down the road and not worry about getting to 12 teams. Without Idaho, divisions aren't a necessity.
