UCONN is a solid NCAA Tourney team playing @ home. I'm not surprised by a close loss but any Bearcat fan would have to be concerned about the quality of play today: lazy passes became turnovers and the inside game was completely absent.

Of greatest concern, UC still doesn't appear to have a capable point guard. The fact that Rubles was bringing the ball up the court frequently in both Louisville games would suggest that neither Guyn nor Caupain can handle being closely guarded full court.

We've just lost to a pair of programs that own national championships in the past four years. UC needs to regroup this week. The college season is a roller coaster ride; the next two games appeared to be likely wins but if UC doesn't start passing the ball and getting some inside scoring they could finish the season with two more losses.
