There is tough and then there is absolutely stupid. You cannot build/rebuild a winning program and schedule games like this. It does nothing but make you look worse than you are. Problem here is USM is as down as it gets. They are coming up on 2 years without a single victory. Playing teams like Bama are only going to further beat down your players and your fanbase. It is beyond ignorant for them to have agreed to this game. If you want to play P5 schools that is all well and good but you better go out and schedule the ones you have a chance to at least compete with. USM won't make it past the 50 against Bama. Unless Saban leaves and they go into some upheaval at Bama and recruits leave because Saban went to Texas this will be one of the worst games in USM history.

USM couldn't even beat FIU. I mean come on.
