I'm only saying this b/c he is not the coach of the hillbillies anymore- The guy is great at getting under achievers to produce- I.E.- that damn Ewww-T team that beat us in the #1-#2 game. He had far less talent on his roster than we did. The guy will be great whereever he coaches. He'll have a big job in a year or two.

However, he is NOT the guy for our job, nor will he ever be. Our job has a guy filling it and he has been fantastic so far. 5 years in he has had enormous success recruiting and by most collegiate standards, coaching success. Yeah he's came up short in the NCAA and has won 1 game. He came in with little to work with and got the job done. Pastner has kept Memphis as an elite program.
