From "championship banners", eating at Duncans, to remarks about the steakhouse... Yeah, for a while, people that knew what he was saying took a lot of offense to it. Now, I will admit, they might've been 100% in playful jest at a "new" source of competition, but I took it as a thumb in the eye of people that supported him and the program.

As the Memphis Coach, he was very successful for the basketball program. A lot of the things RC is blamed for were as much cal's fault as RC's... other than RC allowed it, which goes on him. So, he was bad for the overall Memphis Program.

As a person, complete jerk from every experience I had with him and everyone I know had with him away from camera lights or Tiger functions.
