A couple of other tidbits on the Lipscomb coaching search:

The only former Lipscomb player with college head coaching experience (on the men's side) is Jason Shelton. He played and coached under Don Meyer, was an assistant at Colorado under Ricardo Patton (who has Nashville ties) and at Utah under Rick Majerus. He is currently the head coach at Freed-Hardeman.

ETA: Correction -- Strike "only" from paragraph above. Tom Kelsey has been a college head coach at two different NAIA schools.

If I'm guessing, I'd say it's probably either Shelton, Tom Kelsey, or Brian Ayers. At this point I'd make Kelsey a slight favorite. But until there is white smoke from the conclave, nobody knows anything for sure.
