ECU Chancellor Ballard said that Terry Holland would be leaving the AD announcement early to attend a Big East teleconference. Any idea when and where we can watch that?

A second reference by the Chancellor to this event being cut short for another media event...

I just posted this on the CR board but it should be here too...

Someone just mentioned on Boneyard Banter that Chancellor Ballard said ECU would be in for all-sports. That's the first words that have come from an official source to say we have the all-sports invite.

I was there LIVE. He didn't say it unless he spoke to person 1 on 1. All he did say was Th had a BE teleconference to go to. If you interpret that as....

I think their quote of Cancellor Ballard was well after the Compher presser. There was another media event following the Compher presser (Ballard said so) but I could not get info on what that event was about.

I didn't hear it, but I think it was on Pirate Radio.

They had 1 on 1s post presser, I didn't attend that as I'm a lowly photographer.

Compher said they were discussing full membership, that was their goal. Unless the teleconference TH hustled off to was to discuss it, I've heard of no change.

Ballard said that on Pirate radio after the press conference and it was almost the first words out of his mouth. He did say at the start of the press conference that Holland had to go take part in a Big East teleconference but the reason the athletic director's press conference had to be cut short was because they needed Harvey Hall for pregame basketball pirate club function. Don't look for an official all sports invitation until the split has officially Been announced

Hopefully Pirate Radio will archive the interview with Steve Ballard on their website and I'll post a link
