if the loss of vcu, odu, ga state (less of an influence i know) didn't motivate them, I don't know what will. more and more fbs opportunities close and we can't even get a pulse on them sometimes. ud publicly announces they have had fbs discussions, talked to conferences and did a feasibility study. gmu and possibly one other caa team are virtually a lock to leave for the a10 and have been rumored for over a year.

all of this, and we can't even get a peep out of them as to what's their thought process.

I think JMU (and the CAA) was shocked at how quickly VCU/ODU moved. They thought they had at least another year due to the uncertainty of "higher" conferences. That same uncertainty has screwed both ODU and VCU.

ODU is 'screwed'? We're in a much better position than before. Could you imagine if we were stuck in a CAA sans VCU and GMU? Monarch fans would be on suicide watch.

ODU lost ECU, their closest CUSA school. That what I meant by screwed..... Now, your closest conference mate is who? UNCC? Marshall? Both are a 6-8 hour bus ride away.
