My cousin just called me, tornado flipped his car over with him and his g/f in it, about 5 minutes from the campus, both are ok

a campus apartment was hit and had some damage but i was told no one was seriously hurt there

Have lots of relatives in South Miss. and New Orleans....they get alot of bad weather for sure. My cousin just called and said they were in Hattiesburg when it hit ... everyone she is with is ok.

They are showing damage on CNN. It looks really bad. They are saying the older section of the USM campus was hit really hard.

I watched motion radar as that cell went over Hattiesburg. Classic tornado cell with what appeared to be hail at the center. Even worse is there are many larger cells headed N/E into Alabama.

Could be a rough night down there.

I had a family member at Union when they got slammed a few years ago. Not a good feeling at all.
