If its a military drone, as far as I know, they're essentially aviators if not officers. Meaning they know where they're flying. And if they're patrolling the US, they know they're looking at US citizens. If its a target of opportunity overseas, I don't know how much heads-up they get regarding who the target is. But if its a planned strike, they're gonna get a ton of info before hand including target data.
Actually, the CIA targets people whose identities aren't even known. The CIA has also said that "three guys doing jumping jacks" constitutes a terrorist training camp. And, of course, any military aged male that is killed by a drone is automatically considered to be a militant.
Not exactly a "ton of info."
None of which has anything to do with what I said. But please, continue to tell me about the quality of briefs I receive.
Um, you said "But if its a planned strike, they're gonna get a ton of info before hand including target data." You wouldn't consider knowing who the person you're killing is would qualify as part of "target data?" Do you think seeing three guys doing jumping jacks or any military age male is a "ton of info" to justify a strike? This has nothing to do with your briefs. If the CIA doesn't even know who they are killing, I doubt the drone operators do.
Please show me where I was discussing CIA drones.
