Mike Stuart (Maryville, Tn.) has worked regular D1 basketball since 1994 and the NCAA Tournament since 2000 and will have worked nearly 90 games by this season's end. It was Stuart who correctly called a lane violation against Notre Dame during their loss to Xavier earlier this tournament. This is his third Final Four in four years. Big 12 and Big East Conferences.

Is Stuart the guy who Geron "mouthed off" too after being fouled? The ref obviously didn't like it and from that point on Geron was like chum to the officials.

quite frankly, I don't like the idea of anybody from East TN ever working a Memphis game. Ever. There are a lot of deep-seated biases towards west TN in that region

How often are games STOPPED so the refs can check the film after an away-team's player just flopped?

Blaming the officials is pointless. Don't be a sore loser. Our team did a lot to put themselves in the situation they were in down the stretch.

The officials cost us the game I WILL blame them, our players made mistakes but if the game was called fairly we win by 10...

No way. And if Lousiville had their center they would have won by 20.

UL beat writer @jdemling: That was an awful call there by Mike Stuart. Russ lost the ball…Stuart way down the floor and calls foul.

The refs didn't force 24 turnovers. Louisville is a better coached and was more prepared than we were.
