I hear there is a nice game outdoors today at noon about a half hour south of you.

High School play-offs don't start until 7pm.

Not to state the obvious or anything, but....

BG vs Kent will most likely determine who plays NIU for the MACC and it ought to a great game between too good teams. I was actually thinking about going to the game to check out the opposition had Toledo won on Wednesday but course that is now a moot point.

Without question this will be a great Saturday afternoon fall game with perfect football weather----it doesn't get any better or more fan friendly and it is ONLY possible because even in their wildest dreams none of the ESPN/MAC TV schedule makers, could have imagined that this game would assume the importance that it now has.

CH 13 noticed. It's on tv.

The weather is great, but, I don't think the weather would have changed the losses into wins. DEFENSE, DEFENSE, DEFENSE, and receivers catching the football.

Good luck! Personally, I'd love our real rival to beat our "rival" in the MACC.

Good for them---I think that they were also the ones who carried that Friday night UT-MINN game in 2001; hopefully it will pay off for them in terms of ratings. However, I am pretty certain that CH 13 made their decision to carry the game a lot more recently than last summer when ESPN and the MAC were making their tentative schedules and, unlike ESPN, I doubt that they had a lot of say about when the game would be played.

I would rather UT play weekend games and get regional coverage as the MAC Game of the week, instead of being weeknight on ESPN2/U.

We win those games and we are ranked 18th right now... We laid eggs, but it could have helped us. I agree that Akron should be on a Saturday.
