Much has already been said about the football game, so moving on...

Men's basketball team sounds like played improved basketball against a decent Northern Iowa squad. Bench play & depth are still an emerging issue, but this most recent effort by the team overall was better than the previous 2.

Lady Rockets sound like that could have stolen a W out of Dayton, and even with the loss I still think that was a good game for them, given that Naama didn't appear to have a great game and we still are struggling with finding more than 1 consistent 3-point shooter (Inma had 3 3s, but that's not really the best use of her skill set, imo). All in all, though, this is looking like a team that could be playing well enough by conference time.

And both squads locked in their 3 verbal recruits--don't know that much about the incoming Lady Rockets, but the men's class has the potential to be one of the strongest classes we've landed in awhile.
