It's confirmed today with the "insiders" over there, and someone that I know who is entrenched with their program also confirmed it with me as well this morning. They made it out of the Duke visit alive and that's all it took. He will officially visit UT next weekend, and announce a week or two later.

And total obscurity is just silly. TN is on a national broadcast 16 times this season (ESPN or CBS). Memphis will be on a national broadcast 5 times (NBC sports network and ESPN). Memphis exposure will improve with the Big East, but that's next yr.

I don't agree with that. Last I looked Coleby was ranked in the 140's, Williams around 85. Nichols is a top 20ish player. I would much rather have Nichols.

UT has 16 national games after finishing a season with a home loss to Middle in the NIT.

They are highly likely to be in the NCAAT this year. You really think they are going to go from 16 national games to "total obscurity" after an NCAAT year? You understand the SEC has a contract with ESPN, right?

Sorry, what we meant by obscure is that the only time your piece of $hit program had (key word "had") a tiny bit of success in its 100 year existence, your cheater coach got completely kicked out of the NCAA. Now, virtually the only way you can get decent players is if you have a connection to a scumbag opportunist who openly commits recruiting violations.

Other than that, our reasons for calling you obscure are silly. Our butthurt fans will suffer with a nationally ranked team going to the NCAA tournament AGAIN. Have fun in the NIT.
