This all depends on how much preessure the defense can put on the offense up front. I thought they did a poor job last year pressuring the quarterback, SMU was a great example, and Tulsa showed that they could dominate the d line by running it up the gut towards the end of the game (at home at that). The offense should be much more consistent with the talent in the backfield and the returning starters on the offensive line. Just alittle over a month to find out. I can't wait.
You really think UCF is going to win at Ohio State in Columbus?
I said I was being a homer, but with the change of offensive philosophies with Meyer, a chance at more turnovers, a better offense by UCF, (I was not impressed with OSU's defense last year), and some luck, why not.
I agree with this. I don't see OSU as some unconquerable juggernaut. They are changing coaches and coming off of a bad break with their last coach, that always has an effect on a team.
Granted, the new coach is Urban Meyer, who we all saw build Bowling Green and Utah into good teams from his first day there and we will be playing in large, very hostile environment. But to act like UCF has only a puncher's chance at victory is overly pessimistic. Now I'm not saying I expect us to win, but this isn't like that year we played UF and were just hoping to avoid a shutout.
