Damn... I totally called that was who they were going to hire...
Should have made it official and put it on paper.

He is a nice guy. First year we took Colon to the Playoffs he wrote me a nice letter on EMU stationary. Never met him but it was a nice gesture.

I have coached several of his relatives. Clipfell is a good football name down here. I have had some good ones. Wondered the other day what he was doing when I say the EMU womens coach thing go down.

Hope he does well. When he gets a wmu email, I might have to email him.

I just read that Clipfell graduated from Colon in 1981...and he was the head coach there from 1982-1998.

In short, he took over the program the year after he graduated...and compiled a 185-65 record during his time there.

I'm impressed that he did so well at such a young age.

I'm with MHB, let's hope we see a good program for the ladies at WMU.

Any rumors on assistant coaches? Wonder if anyone retained?
