I'm not on campus or in Ypsilanti (or even Michigan) but the rumor mill has gone dry which is a good thing.

There were rumors about a month.

I'll try to check with a Ypsilanti source.

No words yet, I don't think there will be any until the tournament is over.

Agree ,very frustrating tryng to follow both womans and mens hoops this time of year, especially the recruiting aspect.

Wish both coaches would put ore emphasis on recruiting local players

There were rumors, unspoken here, about Gilbert.

It has to do with the issues she had a while back about the practice time issues and the NCAA violations and possible fallout from it.

Lot of whispers mostly.

I just re-read EMU79's original post and it seems to refer to separate issues:

Her "Status" and (her) "signing any recruits"

Dennis: You might want to PM (private message) EMU79 for more details as to his usage of the word "status".

I believe her original contract term is up has she been re-signed?

Did she sign any recruits early or this signing period which depends whether she will be coach this upcoming season?

And of course the NCAA investigation.
