RE: CIT Tourney - SC Upstate
Hopefully are players have not checked out quite yet. The 4 seniors have a lot on the line reputation wise. JG already will be known as one of the top ten guys to ever come through these doors. As for the other 3, they could be known as a group that somewhat underachieved. Could not get into the tournament last year and then obviously we all know about this year. We have a chance to definitely win this tournament which could give some of the younger kids momentum going in to the off season. Do we want to be known as the team that lost to USC Upstate or the team that dominated for 3 straight games?

Yes. But it would be even nicer to win this whole bloody thing.

From one of our players in the rotation: Yeah they sound real focused
-"Really dont want to go to South Carolina tomorrow...
-"Just wanna be home"
-"We should just chalk this one up, its a waste of time"

On one hand I feel the same way. I plan to have the radio on tomorrow BUT goodness knows I will be watching the big dance....

On the other hand can KSU get part of this guy's scholarship back before packing it in?

I have said many times, we have some physical skills, but, we are not smart, our basketball IQ is limited, our leadership is non existent, and our heart goes into hiding. Just the kind of team that is hard to love.

Whichever player posted those sentiments should be suspended at once, and if Kent State isn't one of the schools that have already gone to four year scholarships, his scholarship should be revoked at the end of the school year, unless of course he is already in his last season. This nonsense has to stop.

Boy, he (Jackson) was a major disappointment. I don't care how athletic he is, or how strong, or even how thin Kent State is in the frontcourt. The sooner his scholarship opens up, the better.

RE: CIT Tourney - SC Upstate
Hate to say it but thank god it isn't a player that could have a huge effect on this game. This was his time to shine and show that he might deserve major minutes next year. Now he will probably spend net year in the dog house again. Let's hope Senderoff starts getting some guys in here who care. While some have questioned there play towards the end of the year, Justin Greene and Porrini lay it all out everytime they touch the floor. They always have some type of impact on the game even if they don't score. Same can not be said for just about everyone else on this team. Especially Evans who disappears when things don't go his way.
