Jeez Coog all Jackson did was post the article. He didn't state one way or the other whether he thought it would happen or not. You need to address your arguments to the governor.

LOL that is pretty funny. Will be interesting how Penn State politely phrases their decline of the Gov's offer.

Does that mean the Moooooshall fans will be prompting the Gov. of WV to "invite" the blundering terds to the Big East?

There's an interesting thread on the Penn state Rivals board that touches on this very topic.

-- ToopCog....of course you know that Penn St has played Rutgers more times then they have Michigan, OSU and Iowa combined..

-- Will the Gov's plea work...probably not.....Do I wish it was MT making the pitch rather then the Gov of NJ....yes......Do I think this is worth a try....Yes

-- When people think of the Big 10 they are always going to think of OSU and Michigan....always.....Penn St was the OSU of Eastern football and if they are looking for a quick way back to the top maybe they'll think about it.....if they want to actually have some real rivalries again...maybe they will drop the Michigan St/PSU charade and start playing Pitt, West Virginia and Syracuse again....probably won't work but nothing wrong with making the pitch

Whats a shame is if back in the day when Joe Pa wanted to form an all
Eastern Conference and I think there were a couple schools that
wanted no part of it (Pitt) , if this would have happened this conference
whatever the name would have been could have been the one raiding
the ACC instead of the other way around ..

LOL we'll be making that trip any day now 04-drinky

It's a shame that's how things are between the 2 schools, but... oh well. Not really anything can be done about it at this point.
