That may only happen if Louisville leaves to free up an all-sports slot.
Doesn't Temple make 13 for FB? If UL leaves, then the BE at 12 for FB makes more sense then adding another 13th in UMass.
If UL leaves, the BE has its 12. If UL stays, the BE doesn't need a 14th school until the 2015 season, presumably football only, to come in with Navy.
Army is the logical choice. Perhaps they'll be more receptive.
I think Air Force would be the most logical choice.
West then would look something like-
Air Force, Navy, San Diego St, Houston, SMU, Boise, and Memphis.
East would be:
Cincy, Louisville, Temple, UConn, Rutgers, UCF, USF
If Louisville goes, Memphis shifts to the east, UNLV maybe comes in for the west.
Army already has a place for their other sports and brings the Army-Navy game to the BE. They wouldn't have to say goodbye to longtime partners like Wyoming & Colorado State like AFA would. The conference would have a tighter divisional format with an East division consisting of Army, Navy, Rutgers, UConn, Temple, UCF & USF.
