No problem.
I lived in Houston for about 6 months when my company sent me there to oversee the takeover of a hotel. Anybody who complains about traffic in their city needs to shut their mouths. Houston is worse. A lot worse.
BTW, i wonder if you can help me GS. There is a Bosnian restaurant near the Galleria. It is awesome but I cant remember the name of it. Do you know?
Can't say that I do. Sorry, man. I don't usually go to the Galleria area. I wish I could help you out. I bet someone like HtownOrange or ShockerBob would know the answer. When I go to Houston, it's usually to one of the two Star Pizza locations. (By the way, if you haven't had it, you're really missing out. It's easily the best pizza I've ever had.)
BTW, I found out what it was. It is Cafe Pita on Westheimer. You should check it out...it is amazing....and cheap. Never had Star Pizza...actually Im not a huge pizza guy to be honest. However, when I make it back to Houston I'll try to check it out.
Oh, nice! I'll have to check out then. Also, sweet! There are two Star Pizza locations, like I said: One on Norfolk (the original, by the way) and one in the Heights. Here's their official website.

Wait until we start playing each other. We will be the fanbase you hate, but it will help rivalries.
At least there is a calm before the storm, and we all have ideas for food when traveling.
yea, we also tend to bring the worst out in other fanbases. Only Memphis, UCF, and Houston fans can make Marshall and USM fans act like ***** ****.
FIFY! (Only because you know it's true. )

id probably go to the Norfolk location since I usually only go to Houston now for Tiger games and it is closer to UH.

Yes, it's definitely closer to UH. But really, you can't go wrong with either location. The pizza is always top-notch!
Edit: Just realized you meant the original one. Whoops.

Lol! Too true!
That's why I prefer reading these boards to Coogfans, which is so painful to read at times! There are so many Coogwagons to be found there. But, as you said, it's all relative. I'll take our wagons, Memphis included, over living in the land o' Bevo anyday.
This is going to be a fun league.

Memphis fans, you're awesome in my book!
The feeling is mutual. Memphis and Houston go back a LONG way. Houston already showed the college football world what it could do in a fair situation (in the old SWC). Now both of our schools are on a level playing field and some people are going to be very surprised in the future.

All I can say is that the attitude in here about Memphis has certainly changed from what it was two years ago.

Yes, we certainly do. We've got two threads dedicated to barbecue and Mexican food alone! I'm surprised nobody from New York or Chicago hasn't made a Big East Pizza Thread yet.
Anyway, I've always respected you guys when it comes to smack talk. You can talk smack like crazy, but the thing is, if you can back it up a hell of a lot more than you can't in a particular sport, all your opponents can do is tip their hats to you and admit defeat.
TripleA: What I've learned since I started posting on the Big East boards is they tend to circle the wagons around those that will be joining the league. They did that with me even before our move became official, and they seem to be doing the same with Memphis fans.
