Former EMU hoops assistant new Air Force head coach
Former EMU assistant coach Dave Pilpovich was named Air Force's interim head coach today after the AFA fired head coach Jeff Reynolds.

Pilpovich was an assistant at EMU from 2000-2005 before going to Michigan. He came to EMU from Robert Morris with Jim Boone.

Hope he does well and lands the gig full-time. Tough job though.

Actually I feel BAD for Pilo.

This probably means another coaching change at the head coach position which means he'll be most likely looking for another job at season's end.

I'd assume AFA is a tough place to have a winning program.

College hoops is one TOUGH profession.

I personally know Mr Pilipovich and wish him the best. He is a great guy with over 25 years of coaching experience and hopefully he'll take advantage of this opportunity but Steve is right, Air Force may decide to go in a different direction at seasons end. Tough, tough place to coach..
